The Wasco Recreation & Park District (WRPD) is exploring the formation of a dedicated Little League Board to help oversee and grow our youth baseball and softball programs.

This board would operate under WRPD oversight and work closely with our staff to:

·        Support Program Growth: Help guide the expansion of baseball and softball, including the potential addition of Little League softball.

·        Organize Volunteers: Assist with scheduling, fundraising, field preparation, and events.

·        Strengthen Community Involvement: Provide parents and community members an active role in shaping the future of Little League in Wasco.

·        Enhance Opportunities for Players: Ensure our athletes have access to a well-organized program with opportunities for advancement and development.

By forming a board, we can bring together dedicated volunteers who share the goal of providing our youth with the best experience possible, while WRPD maintains oversight to ensure accountability and alignment with district goals.

We are seeking interested parents and community members who would like to be part of this new board and help us build a stronger future for youth baseball and softball in our community.
