Now Hiring – Flag Football Officials 🏈
Wasco Recreation & Park District is currently hiring Flag Football Officials for our youth recreation flag football program.
We are looking for experienced and dependable officials who have a strong knowledge of flag football rules and can help provide a safe, fair, and positive experience for our young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Officiate youth flag football games
- Enforce District program rules and game rules fairly and consistently
- Assist Flag Football Coordinatorin set-up/breakdown of the field
- Maintain control of the game and promote good sportsmanship
- Communicate respectfully with coaches, players, and the Flag Football Coordinator
- Help ensure games are conducted safely and according to schedule
- Work with other officials to ensure games run smoothly
- Report any game-related issues or concerns to the Flag Football Coordinator
Qualifications
- Previous officiating experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of flag football rules and game procedures
- Ability to make fair and consistent calls
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working with youth participants, coaches, and parents
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
